93 Evinrude 50hp 2 stroke on pontoon

I have a 93 Evinrude that doesn't go past 2500 rpms in gear. I can rev it all the way when in neutral but as soon as I put it in gear, nothing. Two weeks ago it ran fine, but was having problems starting it and thought it was the coil pack. Changed it and it started up fine and that's when the problem started.

They will rev up in neutral on one cylinder.----That test means nothing.-----Post your actual compression values here.----Test for spark that jumps a gap of 3/8" ( 1 cm ) on both leads.----Check for sheared flywheel key.-----Mixing gas and oil at 50:1 or running with VRO in service.-----Installed a new water pump impeller every 5 years ?----Tested overheat warning horn?
