My dad gave me a boat and the last time i took it out it was running fine and the all pf the sudden boom it starts to bog down and not run. I finally got it going but it would only stay running half choked. And yet would still stall out. So removed the carb( there was so much trash in the bowl an stuck between the diaphram its a wonder it ever started to begin with)to clean about a week ago and i cleaned it and put it back on now when i prime it gas shoots out the top. After doing a little research im thinking that because i took it off and had it sitting for a week in a ziplock that the needle is stuck and the float isnt working properly. Im just trying to get her up and gowin and this is my first time working on any outboard any help to make it easier on me would be greatly appreciated...theres nothing more irritating to me then takeing somethingapart and putting it back together and it still not work haha.
