i have a 92 or 93 yamaha waverunner 3 650 that i paid 500 for it and the trailor. i got it out on the water and it ran fine for about a minute. then it just would not go. it idles fine except for all the white smoke coming out. so i took carb off and cleaned everything good and it still fouled the plugs after about 1 min. so i bipassed the oil injection system and mixed my own oil and gas @50:1 and still it is fouling plugs. it smokes like a chimney but with new plugs it will run fine for about 1 min. then it fouls them and it just boggs down???? im lost. do i need a new carb, possibly a clog in the exaust... maybe new plug caps??? please help!!! why am i fouling plugs?

my guess is the head gasket is leaking water in to the cylinders,, do a compression check on it and crank the engine with the plugs out see if water comes out the plug holes,, also be sure you are following the flush procedure correctly,, never have the water turned on if the engine is not running,, it floods the engine with water.

i have pulled the plugs and cranked the engine... no water. my original thought was to chec if oil was in the cylinders so i held my fingers over the plug holes and nothing was there. im checking the ski in the water so im not hooking any hoses to it. i just keep fauling plugs. if the head gasket was leaking wouldnt i have water in there? the people i got it from said they used it all last season, just hadnt used it this year. i mixed my own gas and oil and it didnt fix the promblem. ran a fuel treatment, still nothing. whats the chances of the carb just going bad over the winter?

you didn't remove the old fuel from the tank,, pretty good possibility the fuel is just bad.
