'92 yamaha 4Q two stroke. Won't run when throttle is returned to idle.

Engine starts and runs a higher speeds, but when returned to idle engine acts like kill button was pushed and quits.<br /><br />Also will not run if choke is turned off at idle speeds. Have rebuilt the carb but same problem exists. Cleaned out fuel tank, filter, line, new spark plug, etc.<br /><br />When engine starts it seems to run at much higher speeds than before.<br /><br />Any suggestions??

Redo the carb. Running with the choke only tells me somthing in the carb is stopped up in the idle circuit.
