Does anyone know how to adjust the linkage on a Yamaha 25? Right now, it appears that due to vibration the linkage needs to be adjusted. It is a manual shift, so no problem due to a control box. F=Forward, N=Forward, and R=Neutral. How can I get the linkage adjusted?
Thanks,
Boatsrus

Tilt the motor up and look just above the cavation plate on the front. You will see a barrel nut on the shift linkage. That nut will adjust the linkage by turning it in or out. There's a lock nut at the end of the barrel you will need to loosen first.
