took to dealer for repair informed me to old to repair. he said had rust in cylinders &pistons had rust . i can turn the shaft by hand no problem noticed oil leak from below carb. is it worth pulling engine & trying to fix? or junk it ? sell parts? is the hull worth $$$ need in put out of water for year. ran in fresh water only help!!!!!!!!

Why is there rust inside? Was it submerged? For how long?

try and get a compression test and see what the readings are, clean the fuel system out of old fuel rebuild the carb and it will probably run if you pull the plugs and put a little oil in the cylinders through the plug holes and crank it with the plugs out it will probably clear the surfaces of the cylinders, aluminum pistons don't rust,, the cylinder walls can rust but if it isn't siezed up it will clear the rust , the oil is either a loose hose to the oil pump or rotary valve compartment. that old it should be converted to pre mix any way.

Thanks will try .If i convert to pre mix how do i close off oil injection system? do i have to pull motor do do this? how can i test electric componets example.. modulater?<br />machine never submurged used antifreeze in lines when winterized in P.A.
