Hey all. Ive got a SL650 thats in beautiful shape, just has a motor thats toasted (water was coming out of the cylinders, parked it years ago, so Im sure its gone.) and Ive got my boat.

I dont really have money for both, and the boat is good for the whole family. So, i need to find out if its worth the time and effort to put a motor in to sell it. Is there a place to pick up a good fuji(?) motor for cheap?
I know its a pain to work on, is it really so bad to swap a motor?

Thanks in advance,
Jon.

P.S. -if anyone needs one to part out/work on, That option is on the table, too.

You can get a motor from SBT for $595. I would only do it if I was going to keep it. If not I would probably part it or find someone that wants to buy it and replace the motor.
