92 Merc 75 HP bogs down

Took the boat out yesterday and all was well for awhile. Here is the trouble. 1992 Merc 75HP 3 cylinder would not plane out boat. I could only go about 6 MPH. What should I check first? Plugs and fuel filter?<br />Engine does not seem like it's getting enough gas (I think). Got it running at correct rpm then it "bogged" down again. Primer bulb seemed "tight". Sorry, no tach or temp gauges. At full throttle boat just went 7 mph.<br /> Thanks for any advice you may have.

Sounds like dirty carbs, might try some carb or fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank and see if it will help if you have a built in tank that is about full you might just as well clean the main jets
