'92 Force 150, I see a round 1/8" hole in the leading edge of my lower unit aprox 2" above the prop shaft/horizontal gear, is it supposed to be there? It seems like its leaking a tiny drop of oil. thanks, Bill
That would be a built-in speedometer pickup. If that's gearlube, it may have cracked between the main cavity and pickup cavity. If it's water, no problem.
I think it has something to do withthe gears do not unscrew it all the way out as the gear linkage inside seems to shift and is very awkward to re locate the pin/bar back in.
