Hey all, I just bought a 1992 Blue Water w/4.3 merc last weekend. I had heard lots of good reviews about BW and I got it from the orignal owner so I was pretty happy about the deal. Boat runs and looks great for being 11 yrs old. I was just wondering what everyone else's opinion was on this Brand. Is there anything I should look out for etc. Thanks.

Jason

Re: '92 Blue Water

BlueWater builds a good boat. The 4.3 is almost bullet proof if properly maintained. I am on my 2nd BlueWater I sold my BlueWater Bowrider and bought a BlueWater Cuddy Cabin. Used to work for BlueWater Dealer can't recall any real problems with the brand. Hope you enjoy your BlueWater as much as we have enjoyed ours. Rick

Re: '92 Blue Water

blderman
You already bought the boat! A little late to ask questions! :) Just kidding. BW boats are made just a few miles from where I live. I have never boated one or sold one, but have sold against them as we sold other brands. I will say this, that keeping apples with apples, the people looking at Blue Water were also looking at our higher end boats! I have looked at them up close (during boat shows) and from what I saw they are a very well made boat! They use high end products and it didn't look to me that they cut any corners. Like Rick said, the people I talk to who own them are on thier second or third one! And I see a lot of them here in WA state!
Hope that helps to ease your mind

Happy Boating
Link
