I am changing the drive oil tonight, and Wallyworld is very close to where I work. The marina I use is a little out of the way, I usually get the drive oil from them, but to be honest I am just not in the mood to head that way. Anyone see any reason why I shouldn't just go and grab the drive oil of wally's shelf? I know it won't be Merc, but people on here usually go on for years about OIL.....I just don't want to regret getting wally oil later. BTW, I don't have my manual with me at work anyone know which one I should get also...haha seriously I can't remember, maybe I should go to the marina so they can help my dumbbutt out. Its a 92 115 Mariner. Thanks on the opinions.

Any decent Marine Gear oil will work for you. On that motor I would use synthetic if you can find it. If it is not avail, the dino stuff is fine as well. Pick up a qt and a pump to get it into the gearcase.
