91 waverunner ignition trouble

I HAVE A 91 WR500P WAVERUNNER WITH NO FIRE TO THE SPARK PLUGS. AND I REPLACED THE IGNITION COIL DOES ANYONE HAVE THE SPECS TO OHM OUT THE CHARGE AND PULSER COILS AND WHAT DOES THE RECTIFIER DO AND HOW TO CHECK IT ?????<br />THANKS

I can't help with the values but the rectifier changes ac to dc from the charge coils, I really don't know on your engine if it has any effect on ignition, I would check all the wires to the coil for continuity especially ground wires as they can disolve internally from corrosion. also be sure the kill switch is not shorting out internally.

Have you checked the kill switch? older waverunners are known for having problems with the dead man switch. i have a 91 did everything you did and come to find out it was the kill switch the whole time.
