91 merc tracker alarm

40 hsp oil injected<br />Does anyone know what would cause the alrm to beep when motor is started water pump is working and oil is full<br /><br />thanks in advance

Disconnect the wires going in the oil tank and see if it stops. The float inside the oil tank could be sticking, or bad sensor...You do have oil in the tank??

Trent,<br />you are right on the money! Thanks. I disconnected the wire and no alarm. Can you tell me where the sensor is located and if I can test the float and sensor? There is a sqaure clear plastic box that I can see soldered located bottom corner right side under cover. It appears to have a small area that could possibly be burnt (looks brown on soldered part) could this be the culprit)? <br />Thanks
