When I turn the key on and start the motor, I get a steady alarm from the console. It's pumping water and there is water pressure showing on the gauge. The oil reservoir is full. The engine operates fine. If I turn the key on and not start the engine the alarm continues to sound. Is there a way to trouble shoot this with the boat on the trailer in the garage? Any ideas?

Perhaps faulty electronic in the buzzer itself.-------------Look into replacing the buzzer.

Check the temp sensors on the motor by disconnecting them and see what happens.

Ok. I will. I checked again and I get a 1/2 second pulsing alarm when I turn the ignition on without starting the motor. It stays on as long as the key is on. I'm getting 7 VDC to the buzzer. I'm assuming the tone of the buzzer changes with different voltages from the sensors based on the continuity of the sensors? Thanks for the help!

Did you have the temp sensors in the cyl heads disconnected when you did this ??

I think I found it. The low oil in reservoir does not have continuity. I'll try it out later to make sure it's ready for a spoonbill snagging trip tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
