Motor starts very easily,idle is very rough. Been told that is the nature of the 3 cyl? Runs very smooth once you raise the rpms a little bit. Shift lever is very hard to move, assume it is a cable problem ? Not sure I want to attempt replacement, sprayed the end of cable with a penetrating lube. Seemed to help a little,but is probably not getting inside the cable jacket. In neutral, shift lever is very free.Boat ,17 ft bayliner trophy has not been used very much,but has been sitting on a lift in Florida for a few years.Thanfully it had a cover on it.
