Hello everyone;<br /><br />Hope I can get some engine help here. I have a 15' Bowrider with a 1986 6cyl Mercury 90hp Outboard. Took the boat out Saterday and the engine ran great. Sunday I started the engine and it idles fine but as soon as you apply some throttle it hesitates. The hesitation happens at all throttle positions except idle, and when the boat is in neutral or in gear. I did notice that the engine is blowing quite a bit of gas out the exhaust, and I also noted that there seems to be gas flowing out a port on the engine. I don't know if it may be just a blow by. I replaced the plugs and fuel filter in June, so I believe they are O.K. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
