I went to turn the motor off, and it didn't turn off. So, I pulled the fuel line and let in run out of gas... I did the ignition switch test in the Johnson repair manual and the switch checked out good..... When I ran the motor again the ignition switch shut off the motor.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

I guess there's a question there.... My guess is your ignition switch is dying but check for corrosion on the ground screws.

I see one ground screw on the power pack and ground wires on the block.
Any others I need to be aware of? I looked around and didn't see any others.
Boat is always garaged and is only used in fresh water.

Thank you,
Kevin

On twin cyl’s, the power pack has the main black ground wire and another black/yellow stripe that completes the kill circuit when ground is applied. Spark should stop with ground on that wire. If not, cd box lost that capability but will work fine otherwise. If grounding that wire kills spark, then ignition switch or faulty kill circuit wire. Good luck!
