90hp efi fuel problem?

Thanks to you all for info,Here is a question I need answered,I just replaced the hose in my FSM,but I still cant get the engine to keep running it is hard starting , only runs about 25 seconds then dies,could it be my fuel pressure regulator?

Done a lot of these, never not had one not run after the fix. We are talking about the small line inside the FSM right. Even after the line replacement did you remove the line that goes to the intake? to see if it will run. You should check fuel pressure should be 38-to-40 ish. Just a thought did you somehow leave the float switch disconnected?.

it could be as simple as a defective float switch if so equipped.

Thanks for the fast response yes it was the 4"line to the regulator I checked the float,from the harness it was ok,however I did not remove the line to intake{i'll check that later today] I don't have gauge handy,the model # is1F90413HD

-check to see if there is air present at the fuel pressure test point after cycling key and running. if so, the lift pump likely isn't functioning.
-gauge reading can mislead you as it may read OK even if air is present.

tnks to you and woody for help I got to get the boat home from the dock it may take a couple weeks to begin troubleshooting again I'll look for you guys support than thank so far.
