90hp 6cyl Serial Number Woes

Hi guys,

I picked up an 18' Starcraft tri-hull with a 90hp merc outboard for free. I'm looking for a year on the outboard so I can hopefully pick up some documentation for it. However, I'm struggling with the serial number ID, none of the sites online seem to have it.

Serial number is A174730.

I'm sure I'll be back with plenty of other questions.

Comes up as:

90 90 (R6) 6-cyl 6623151 0A902435 1985 USA
