90A Nissan Won't go in reverse

I have a 94 procraft that won't go in reverse.<br />Forward is just fine, you can see in the engine that the throttle engages just fine.<br />But in reverse, you can see that it engages into reverse but when you move the hand lever back all the way to the bottom the throttle never moves.<br />I had a geltleman replace both cables last week thinking that this would fix the problem but no avail. I needed to get this done anyway so no harm.<br />Can someone point me in the right direction please.<br />thanks

Take the engine into any Japanese outboard dealer and let them check it.
