OK .... this is, I am sure, pretty basic to most of you. I am totally capable of changing spark plugs and have done basic repair and maintenance of cars all my life. but this one has me flummoxed.

I have a 90 HP Evinrude VRO 4 cylinder. When I went to change the plugs, I found that I cannot find a way to get the lowest plug out to replace it. There is no way to get it out. Am I going to have to disassemble the housing to get at it? Any tips?

Thanks for the help I am about to receive.

Most spark plug sockets have a hex on the back side of them to turn them with a wrench instead of a rachet. Thats how I get the " hard " one out on mine. But once you find a wrench that fits the hex on your plug socket it will become the easy one.
