Our 90 HP merc outboard periodically takes 5-10 minutes to start. Once started it runs roughly for 5 to 10 minutes with a slight clattering noise. Usually it will not start with throttle in neutral position, have to start with throttle forward some. Motor is a little over a year old. No warning alarms heard.
