90 hp ficht upgrade to 115 hp?

CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME! i just baught a 1999 22 foot twin vee with twin 1999 90 hp fichts. it only does 32 mph, they say it does 40+ mph with the 115's. <br /><br /> I know the block of the 90 is the same as the 115, as well as allot of other things. does anyone have the info on how you make the 90 hp produce 115 hp? just 25 more horses! please!

Relax, Chris.<br /><br />This is hardly an emergency.<br /><br />It would cost you more to convert those engines than to replace them with 115s.<br /><br />Please don't post the same question in multiple places. It confuses and annoys people who want to help.

the only way to make that change is to change the ecu's program <br />not something that is easily (legally?) done

Ah - - - there is the world of "they say" again. Almost as bad as a seller telling you that "all it needs is a tune-up".
