90 hp evinrude

raising and lowering motor on hydrolics straining to come up and sticking to go down any ideas i have put greese in every hole or nipple i can find.could it be oil and how do you check it please help thanks

there is a big flat head screw, usually on the right side of your motor, (facing from rear of boat) in the trim cylinder, trim motor up remove screw put trim fluid in..repeat till it works right.

More likely the bushing in the top of the tilt cylinder is seized. The big pin holding the tilt rod to the bracket must be removed and bushing changed. Might be quite a job!!!!
