90' 115 merc 4 cyl, need prop info

I am looking to buy a new prop, but was wondering what other years, engine models will have the same prop as far as mounting splines go as my 1990 mercury 115hp OB. Are there any mercruiser stern drives with the same spline pattern?<br />thanks,<br />h2o

Hi h20Therapy,<br /><br />regarding your question about prop splines, Mercury does not seem to have changed the size, I can fit and have run for 2 years a 13-3/4 x 15 s/s prop from my old 1979 inline six Merc on my 2000 model 90hp Merc. The only thing to be careful with is to make sure you use the original thrust washer/spacer and locking tab that belong to the prop you are fitting, the newer props have a different shaped thrust washer/spacer. I have also tried the latest "flo- torque 2" props as well, without any problems.<br /><br />Bob
