Got a new Yamaha 9.9 high thrust as a kicker engine on my 21' Striper. Everything worked fine at the dock, it went up and down fully. Ran it shortly while boating and headed in pleased. Put the boat on the trailer and try lowering the 9.9 to the fully down position for trailering. The motor works both up and down but the engine won't go past 3/4 way down. I tried the manual release but it still won't get past the 3/4 down mark. The engine is under warranty, but hoping I don't have to wait in line at the service dept. Frustrating since it only has about 1 hour on it. Just stand on it? Anyone have a similar experience or know of a fix?
