9.9 Nissan; Should I?

Thinking about buying a 1988 9.9 Nissan short shaft if the guy will get serious about the price. He's several hundy too high. Here's a link in case anyone wants to take a peek. http://littlerock.craigslist.org/boa/1922302619.html It appears to be in excellent condition, but I've never had a Nissan. Is there anything in particular I should know? How about parts? Would I have any trouble getting them for this year model? Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

No carb or ignition parts available other than CD modules. Was a great engine...Now it will make a great static display.
