9.9 johnson plastic carb top what year????

someone asked if it had a plastic carb cover thought they can ball park a year.<br /><br />help i need parts!!!!!!!!!!!

1987 late production 9.9 carbuator had plastic top, early production had all metal carbuator. What parts do you need? Have you looked on top of cylinders or side of block for freeze plug with model number?
