9.9 HP U.S. Marine help

Hi, I have a 9.9 HP U.S. Marine engine (I was told that they are the same as a Force?), and it is missing the link from the tiller rod to the fuel control (I think that's what it is). Anyways the motor model # is a 92F5B and here is a picture too.

So anyways I cannot find where to get the part anywhere. I could fabricate one, if I knew what it even looked like. So any information at all would be greatly appreciated.
