9.9 hp long shaft

Have the opertunity to buy a brsnd new 9.9 long shaft yahama. Curious to know if this will be long enough to be a kicker on my starcraft islander. This is the long shaft 20" not the extra long shaft 24"

you will have to measure your transom. Cavataion plate needs to be at the bottom or a little below the bottom of the boat.
