9.9 gearing

hi everyone,<br />got a problem with my honda 9.9 .it is fitted to a 23ft narrowboat with a throttle that is away from the motor.i can change between forward and reverse on the motor but cannot change on the throttle.i can change from forward to reverse but cannot get it back into forward it just keeps sticking.please help.

Have you tried disconnecting the control cable and shifting right at the engine.If this works for you ,then you are looking at bad control cables or a faulty remote.
