Any quick suggestions for enhancing a 1999 9.8B performance? It is on a lightwieght 14 ft flatbottom fishing boat. I had thought it was one you could turn into a 15HP but I guess that is the 9.9 series. It has an 8.5 prop. I assume that is the pitch, 8.5 is stamped on the prop hub.<br /><br />Restrictor plate? Reeds? Jets? Not sure I want to open the engine.<br /><br />Thanks!
