9.8 Shift handle needed

Where can I get a shift lever for a 1983 9.8 mercury outboard engine? (Don't lay the motor down on the shift handle side in cold weather.)

Any Merc dealer. They should still be available new. www.tcoutboard.com for used. They specialize in used parts. There is a Twin Cities Outboards dot com which isn't the right website, they're a regular dealer.
