So my9.8 merc 83' was overheating due to a melted water seal going into the powerhead. I replaced it and put it back together started first pull. Now I was watching it idle beautifully with a full stream coming out the tell tale but I noticed some exhaust along with a tiny mist of water coming out of the back of the motor. There is a small hole in the back just below where the motor cover sits along with 3 square indents. Anyone know if the exhaust and mist is normal and what that hole is?? Thanks
