Getting ready to crank it up after being stored away for three years. Not sure it'll fire up, but don't want to blow it out (or up)either. What maintenance or precautions might be necessary to get 'er goin'.

Probably a good idea to drop the bowl on the carb and check for varnish or other nasty things old gas does. Any sign of gunk and I'd pull the carb for a going through and replace the lines. Pull the plugs and shoot a bit of WD-40 in the holes and gently pull the motor over by hand a couple times. Clean and gap the plugs, hook up the flusher and fresh fuel, and let er rip!

Right, Dahbull, and also, change your water pump impeller now, so you wont have to change it at an inconvenient time later.

Red sky at night. . . .
JB
