9.5 hp. Evinrude/What Year ?

I just bought a 9.5 hp. Evinrude. I think it's called a low profile. The model # is<br />9022C, Serial EO5574. Can anyone tell me<br />what year it is ? It runs perfect, but I am<br />going to change the water pump impeller, as<br />suggested in a previous post. Thanks for<br />any info.

Hello The book dosen't show a model 9022.<br />Could it read 9622. Repost if different. Regards Tom

Hi Dolfundon, According to my book that 9022 number was used for two different year motors. The 1970 - 9.5 hp and 1937 16.2 hp.<br />Your motor is the 1970 year 9.5
