9.5 hp evinrude stall then dies

It was running good but seems slower before, now I can go to start it up and and idle okay, but as soon as I take off in gear, withing 2-5 second it'll want to stall then dies doesn't matter if I give it more throttle, then it'll be harder to start pull. My compression is very low around 35-40 on both cylinder.

i would try a different compression tester, with those numbers its very unlikely that the motor would even start.
