9.5 carburator

i'm trying to get my 1964 evinrude 9.5 running ,got a carb rebuild kit from omc but it did not have instructions,my question is there one or 2 knock out plugs. It looks like one about 7/16" across and right above that there appears to maybe be one about 1/4"across,but i"m not to sure and don't want to screw it up,Thanks also when i try to tighten the steering the screw appears to stripped,it looks like a bear to get at any idea's.Thanks again

Do yourself a big favour and get a shop manual for your motor either buy online or try your library<br /><br />it will be much easier if you have the info right infront of you
