I just bought a sailboat with a 8 hp and want to know if i can get more power and if i can convert it from tiller to remote

Not without spending $800.00 and converting the engine to remote runs about $550.00

thanks, it is a good motor but i think i will look for somthing a little bigger I think a 15HP would be a good choice
