8hp 2 stroke manual settings

Good Morning all. Need some assistance with a 8hp (8mlhv) 1997 model timing setting as Woodrift key broke off. What are the timing setting for this motor ? Thanks

When you replace the key the timing will be correct again.-----Lap the tapers with some valve grinding compound.----Torque the nut.

As race said clean the shaft and the flywheel fit surfaces well and do not apply lube to it, as that fit is suppose to do a lot of the holding.
