I've noticed the past few weeks that when I'm heading out everything is fine. I have no problems getting anywhere or getting out. I fish the Lower Laguna Madre was on average is about a foot and half or so. I mainly get where I want to fish then get out and wade. I have a 15 foot shallow sport that has a tunnel hull and I am able to get out by leaning right and circling while I gun it to get on plane. But my question is, it seems like by the end of the day as I'm heading in through the channel, mostly with the wind behind me, that it feels like it losing power or tired. I look at the tach and it normally reads around 5200 but coming in it goes from 5000 to 6000 while I am at WOT. When I get close to the dock and slow down, she sounds fine but just concerned about this. This has happened the last three weeks. I checked compression, all three cylinders around 132. Could it be prop slippage? Fuel? I don't have a clue as to what to check.

It half way sounds like a sliping prop hub. Pull the prop and take it into a prop shop and have them check it...Other than that, lower unit internal damage.
