I had exhaust and water coming from under the powerhead so i removed the powerhead. Besides the Ph gasket anything else i should look for or do while its off? I also have the Lower unit removed for a new water pump assembly as i had no water stream coming from the hose, i had a blockage in the block somewhere. I removed the water tube from the top of the block and i used weed eater line to free the blockage. I can now blow through the tube. All fins of the impeller were intact. Dirt maybe? I just don`t want to have something clog it back up once the water starts flowing through again.
On reassembly should i put Powerhead on first then lower unit or does it mater? Thanks

If the blockage was in the P tube external to the engine, you shouldn't have a problem, those tubes are always getting plugged with mud daubers, etc., who love to build their nests in there. I always put the LU on last. What is your engine s/n? If it is higher than OC159200, I can send you the manual for it if you PM me with an email address.

Thanks Gerry, I do appriciate the offer but I have a manual. The blockage was in the block as i had the tube off. I`ll use some compressed air and see if any dirt or bits of an old impeller come out.
