Please help! We have an '89 Rinker with a Mercruiser 4.3 Alpha-One that boggs down (looses power bad) seriously when warmed up and half throttle. We know we had water in the trim lines and recently had a whole new trim put on and the lines cleaned. We've put $1500 in this boat this summer and it's an 89 Rinker - we love it - it's in good shape but it keeps bogging down (loosing power). If we change the plugs and distributor - would that help or should we do something else? I don't know how much more money we want to keep putting in this boat! HELP!!!
