I am looking at buying one of these motors. Does anyone have any information on these motors. Are they a good motor? Also, it is set up for stick steering, is there a tiller kit made for the motor or is it a steering system motor only? Thanks

The 28 Special featured remote controls only, the throwback lower unit, which you may find a hard time locating replacement propellers and gears at reasonable prices. personally i wouldn't buy one unless the price was right.

The price is $750 with controls and all, but without a tiller steer, I really can't use it.
