I am hoping to find an answer to a problem. I have a 89 gt 150 that spits of idle unless choked boggs on accell and around 3500 has a surge almost like a miss have been through the secondary all seems fine. Trying to find out about link and sync as it appears to be off. Unsure of where to adust the follower to the throttle cam? is the throttle cam to be at rest when follower is adjusted? so first speed increases are all timing or should the cam move the follower right from the beginning? Book says loosen follower and adjust to index mark but gives no reference to where the throttle cam should be when adjusted. should it just begin the throttle to open? or at the full rest timing full retarded? I feel I am the only thing retarded here.
