I have an 89 GLideon trailor and after my last trip I got within 2 miles of the house and i heard a ton of noise. When moving the wheel would wobble in place. When I got home I jacked it up and the wheel will move all around. Did I just have a bearing falure? Or is something larger? Thanks for the help.....

If it was just a bearing faliure, would it have these problems? What else could it be?

If the hub and/or wheel has rusted deep enough the rust can flake out and leave a gap between wheel and hub. I bought a used trailer once and had that happen on the way home. Ruined the wheel stud holes.

Bearing failure is probably more likely.

Good luck. :)

You're just going to have to take it apart and look.

From what you describe, the problem, and solution will be very obvious.
