89 force 50 reed stops

i have an 89 force 50 model #507A9B, my question is does this engine have reed stops? When i removed the reeds to replace there were no stops and the manual shows them so i dont know wether i should buy them or not..

Mercury website info, model 507a9b, has reed stops.<br />Part number 34-F88161-4 REED STOP<br /><br />
