Well I have got the new head to replace the one that was leaking water around the spark plug hole. This head is like my origional motor very flat and no cooling fins like the previous head.<br />Well the thermostat I got does not fit. <br /><br />Does the t-stat go between the head (bottom) and the head water cover(top)? or does the t-stat sit on top of the head water cover? I know it is going in right top of the t-stat (the pin) facing me but the bottom just won't fit in the hole. The water cover was already on the new head and I don't want to take it apart if I don't need to.<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Loran
