While rebuilding my carburetors this weekend while I had the primer lines off the carburetors I squeezed the rubber manual fuel pump bulb on the main fuel line and gas shot out those primer lines. I read somewhere in the service manual last night that with the red manual primer valve in the parallel position fuel should not flow through those lines. Is my primer bad? Can it be rebuilt? I noticed there is not a rebuild kit available on Evinrude's parts web site.
