89 125 force

Looking for a factory manual for a 89 125 force needing to lean how to adjust shift cable or shifting rod when going more then half throttle to wot feels like i hit a stump keeps feeling like that sporatic opened up lower unit and do not see any signs of gear slipping talked to many different shops tell me its out of adjustment then tell me they dont work on force so im in need of help tia

Some of the on-line auction sites have some factory manuals from time to time.
You might be able to eliminate the problem by adjusting, however, there's a good chance the clutch dogs in the lower unit are rounded and the gears are jumping, which causes a sudden jerk. The more pressure you place on the clutch dogs, the worse it gets. Lower speeds don't put as much pressure on the clutch dogs as higher speeds.

I have this book says nothing on adjustments have looked at gears no signs of rounding

The clutch dogs are in the center of the gears. It is not the teeth on the outer perimeter of the gears. There are 3 square teeth in the center hub of the gears. These are the clutch dogs.
